Assam Flood Assistance 29 July 2026: Compensation, Books and Student Support Expanded

The government detailed flood-relief measures including compensation for deaths and long-term missing persons, ₹15,000 household assistance, Orunodoi support, free textbooks and book grants. Damage assessment for homes, livestock, fisheries and crops was scheduled from 3 August.
