Assam Flood Relief 1 August 2026: Orunodoi Support Doubled for Women in Four Districts

Women beneficiaries in four of the worst-hit districts were reported to receive double the normal Orunodoi 3.0 amount as emergency support. The measure adds faster household-level cash relief for women-led and vulnerable families already coping with flood damage, food costs and day-to-day recovery expenses.
