Central Team Assesses Upper Assam Flood Damage After 181% Excess Rainfall

A six-member inter-ministerial team completed visits to Charaideo, Sivasagar, Jorhat and Golaghat after unusually heavy rainfall submerged districts not historically considered flood-prone. Its observations were to inform future central assistance.
