Assam flood update from The Federal: death toll rises to 98, 1,55,849 people remain affected across 13 districts, with 33 revenue circles, 464 villages, 55 relief camps, 18 relief distribution centres, more than 47,000 animals affected and 10,748.64 hectares of crop area submerged. The bulletin shows the situation is easing in some places but still very much in recovery mode, especially in Golaghat, Sivasagar and Jorhat.
